The catalyst of our first competition

  


An aspect of the commitment of the Trust to its community is the encouragement it gives to visitors to become involved in the shaping of future projects.

This can take the form of competitions. Some of which are for students and others are for adults.

Competitions in 2010

Design a plate competition - A sherd of a seventeenth century slipware plate was found in the garden of The Blackden Trust. Each year students are invited to complete the design to win a specially commissioned plate based on their picture.

An application form can be downloaded for this competition.

Photographic competition - Visitors are invited to submit photographs taken during their visits to The Blackden Trust.  The winning photographs will be printed on postcards and letter cards to be sold in our shop.
